Summer Friends

I want it to be summer, where I can lay in the grass and stare at the sky. I'll watch the cloud shapes drift along, and when I find one that I've claimed is my favorite, I'll tie a ribbon around it and keep it as my own. I'll give it a name and say it's my friend. I'll let it trail behind me as I walk around, looking back every once in a while to make sure it's still there.
And one day, when it disappears, I'll head back to an open piece of land and start all over again.
